Helen Arnstein Salz (November 30, 1883-May 19, 1978), who lived most of her life in San Francisco, was a painter and poet who helped to found the Northern California branch of the American Civil Liberties Union. Her husband was Ansley Kullman Salz (July 17, 1880-January 3, 1957), a local businessman and art collector.
